The Truth Hurts is the seventh episode in Season 2 of K.C. Undercover and the thirty-fourth episode overall. It aired on May 8, 2016.
Plot[]
Ernie tries to impress The Organization with his science skills and develops a truth serum. Things get out of hand when K.C. accidentally drinks it and has to complete an interview to help Marisa get a job.

- At the beginning of the episode, K.C. says to Ernie "you cannot make yourself a girlfriend." It is unlikely, but this could be a reference to the DCOM movie How to Build a Better Boy starring China Anne McClain and Kelli Berglund.
- It is revealed that K.C. and Marisa met when they were five.
- Petey now knows that the Coopers are and that Judy is a robot spies. He revealed it to his entire class, but Judy made the class believe he was lying. It's now unknown if The Cooper family would use the memory spray to erase his memory.
- This is the first time Marisa is shown to be responsible.
- In this episode we see a restaurant named The Olive Pit. A restaurant of the same name is mentioned and shown on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up that Zendaya also starred in. This restaurant was also seen in Rebel with a Cuz
